Green Lewis and all of his children were born in Brunswick County, NC. In 1855, Green moved his family to Columbus County where they settled. In 1860, Green died suddenly of a heart attack, and the family made a go of it. However, they did not choose to remain in Columbus County, for the author has had little success in following this lineage.
