Brunson Lewis was quite a character. Apparently from a fairly wealthy family, Brunson chose to walk on the "wild side," and became rather infamous in central Florida as a reknown hell-raiser and downright "bad dude." But, he seemed to have repented in his old age and even began preaching later in life. Click HERE to see the Ballad of Brunson Lewis. Click HERE to see an oral history of Brunson Lewis. Sarah Frances Taylor Lewis died 11/30/1859. | ||||
