Starting in the 1830s, the following Lewis families
"arrived" in Brunswick County, NC. Some are relatives
of James Lewis (the earliest permanent Lewis settler of Brunswick
County), some are from other Lewis families in the surrounding
areas, and some are completely "new" to the area. If
anyone has additional information on any of these families, please
